５年生の英語の授業では、以前学習した「物がどこにあるか」を尋ねる表現やその答え方を復習した後、「街の中にある建物（施設）の場所を尋ねる言い方・答え方」を学んでいます。

たとえば、

A: Where is the cup?

B: It’s on the table.

といった基本的なやりとりを確認した後、

A: Where is the library?

B: Let me see… Go straight. Turn left at the second corner. You can see it on your right.

A: Thank you.

といった会話練習を行っています。

子どもたちはタブレットやワークシートを活用しながら、声に出して表現を練習し、実際の場面を想定したやりとりに楽しく取り組んでいます。
