6年1組 関西外国語大学の留学生との交流

本日、5・6時間目に、外国語の時間に、６年1組のみんで関西外国語大学にお邪魔しました。
世界の国々の魅力を伝える単元で、自分の好きな国をプレゼンテーションするために、
外国の人に、出身の国や町についてインタビューをしました。
16人の留学生と日本人の学生さんもお手伝いしてくれました。
子どもたちは、はじめは緊張もあり、何を話していいかわからない様子も見られましたが、
何度も相手を変えて話すことで、慣れてきたり、新しい言い方を覚えたりして、
会話がどんどん膨らんでいき、笑顔が増えて、時には大爆笑が聞こえる場面もありました。
帰り道では、「英語話しすぎて、日本語があやしいわ、、」という声が聞こえてくるほどでした。
子どもたちの振り返りには、「いろんな国の良さを聞き、自分も行ってみたくなった。」や、「英語を学ぶと世界の人と話せると知った。」などの意見がありました。
関西外国語大学の留学生、学生、スタッフの皆様のおかげで、とても貴重な経験ができました。
11月28日には、6年2組のみんなが交流に出かける予定です。
Today during the 5th and 6th periods, Class 6-1 visited Kansai Gaidai University for our foreign language lesson.
Sixteen international students, along with several Japanese university students, kindly supported our activities.
At first, many of our students were nervous and unsure what to say.
However, as they changed partners and spoke again and again, they began to relax, learned new expressions, and gradually expanded their conversations. Smiles increased, and at times we even heard bursts of laughter from different corners of the room.
On the way back, some students jokingly said, “I spoke so much English that my Japanese feels strange now!”
In their reflections, students wrote comments such as, “After hearing about the good things in different countries, I want to visit them someday,” and “I realized that if I learn English, I can talk with people from around the world.”
Thanks to the international students, Japanese students, and staff at Kansai Gaidai University, our students were able to have an incredibly valuable experience.
Class 6-2 is scheduled to visit for their exchange activity on November 28.
