On September 7th, the 1st Hirakata Presentation Event, organized by the Hirakata City Education Research Association's Junior High School English Team, took place.
Junior high school students from across Hirakata City participated and delivered presentations in English on topics such as their dreams, interests, environmental issues, and climate change. Students effectively conveyed their thoughts and emotions to the audience, with some connecting their devices to projectors to showcase photos and slides. Following the presentations, three foreign teachers (NETs) asked questions to the presenters about their topics.
After all the presentations, various awards were presented to the participants by companies in Hirakata City. The students appeared confident, reflecting their sense of achievement after the presentations.
